Penne Alla Vodka Recipe

Penne Alla Vodka is a very famous type of pasta whose main ingredients are penne and vodka in addition to cream,tomato,bacon etc. Penne Alla Vodka Recipe is often very easy to make. Penne alla vodka recipe takes approximately 70-75 minutes to make.
The ingredients which are needed for penne alla vodka recipe is as follows:

-Vodka(half cup)
-Red Pepper crushed(at least one teaspoon)
-Salt(According to your taste buds)
-One diced Onion
-Olive oil quarter cup
-Diced bacon quarter pound.
-You can use either cream or skimmed milk,according to your calorie requirement.If you using cream then 1 cup or if using skimmed milk then one and a half cup.


-Two boxes of penne pasta.
-Grated Romano Cheese(one and a half cup)
-Twenty chopped basil leaves.
-Virgin olive oil quarter cup.
-Two cans of tomatoes.
-Garlic 6 cloves.Peel the garlic.

Penne Alla Vodka Recipe:
-Boil salted water in a deep pan.
-In a separate pan crisp the bacon and set aside.Do not was the pan.
-Put olive oil in the pan and add bacon back to the pan when it is heated in addition to some garlic.
-Heat till the garlic is golden brown.When the garlic is golden brown add onion to the pan and heat it for approximately five mins.
-After this add vodka to the pan and heat till it is reduced to half of the original quantity.Add Salt,red pepper and tomatoes to it.Cook this paste at low heat for 25-28 mins. Stir while heating the paste to prevent it from burning.


-The next step is to add cream to this and cook this at low heat for 10 mins.
-To prepare the pasta add it to boiling water and keep it till its fully cooked.
-Take the sauce off the heat and add the basil leaves.You may also add cheese to the sauce but it is optional depending on how much heavy sauce you need.Stir the sauce well.
-Remove the pasta from the pan and drain it dry and stock it in a little water and put it in the same pan.Pour the sauce over the pasta and stir till it is completely covered with sauce. Your penne alla vodka recipe is complete. You may now serve it.
